King George YMCA - THURSTON Companies is engaged in the Owner Representation of the Rappahannock Area YMCA – King George Branch in King George, Virginia.  The 51,000 square foot facility has been completed. 

This is THURSTON Companies second Project for the Rappahannock Area YMCA.  Earlier this year THURSTON Companies completed the Youth Wing Phase of the Rappahannock Area YMCA – Massad Branch expansion Project in Falmouth, Virginia.  The opening of the Youth Wing was the final piece of the $6 million expansion which included a $2.4 million Water Park, an indoor tennis facility, and the $3 million Youth Wing.

Washington Stage Guild - THURSTON Companies was recently engaged to provide Owner Representation Services for the development and construction of a new Theatre located at 505 9th Street, NW in Washington, DC. THURSTON Companies will manage and coordinate the various phases including design, permitting, and construction. Construction. Construction is scheduled to begin in the fall of 2007 with completion by the 2nd quarter of 2008.

William E. Doar, Jr. Public Charter School – Washington DC -  THURSTON Companies, Inc is engaged to provide Owner Representation for the William E. Doar, Jr. Public Charter School for the Performing Arts.  The project involves a 15,000 square foot expansion of the lower level of the facility has been completed.

Embassy Suites Washington DC - THURSTON Companies is pleased to announce the completion of the hotel façade renovation. THURSTON Companies was engaged by Hilton Hotels to provide Owner Representation Services for the project.

THURSTON Companies has completed their new Corporate Headquarters in Northern Virginia.
